Name - Eric Galvan
Biography - I started my undergrad journey in 2019 in a small community college in Southern California called Mt. San Antonio College. At the time, I had recently moved to California from Indiana and was looking to move away from the healthcare industry, my previous career. I was always interested in technology, namely the mechanics behind what goes on behind the browser and the page source that generates it. I decided to pursue a degree in Computer Science to see how far I could go in the field, and what I could do to make my own mark in the world.
I have a lot of experience in web development as I have done it as a hobby for many years. Still, I am mainly an amateur frontend developer and lack the Javascript and backend experience that I am looking to gain from this course.
On the meantime, feel free to check out my nerdy side project I work on in between course work. Two years ago I coded, designed, and launched my own website for a little video game hobby I have. I am lucky to have seen the project grow and attract some attention whereabouts on the web. Check it out: Zooberry
My goal is to graduate with my Bachelor's in Computer Science and find a job in the field. Full stack development and graphics programming are two areas I am interested in, but I am open to any opportunity that comes my way.
